Democrats

The Democratic Party is one of two major contemporary political parties in the US, along with the Republican Party. The party's liberal platform is largely considered center-left in the U.S. political spectrum. The party has the lengthiest record of continuous operation in the US. The party had 72 million registered voters in 2004. President Barack Obama is the 15th Democrat to hold the office. In the 2010 elections, the Democratic Party lost its majorities in the House of Representatives and state governorships, as well as its control in the majority of state legislatures. It will continue to hold a majority of seats in the Senate at the beginning the 112th Congress.

Out of all the parties if I had to choose one I would choose the Democratic Party. Although I don't agree with political parties I align with them the most. I feel people should take care of one another and this is some thing the Democrats focus on. They believe in Public Health Care, Support gay Marriage, and other things that make common seance. I'm happy with Obamas work so far and I feel people are way to impatient with him. It takes a lot longer to make some thing then it does to destroy it.

O no...

This weeks midterm results are to me very upsetting. I'm not at all upset that the Republican party won the house, this is a Democracy and that's how things are done, but I'm upset with what is going to happen next. Now that the Republican party is proposing the bills and the Democrats are going to be reviewing it noooothing is going to get done. The Democrats are as just as stubborn as there opposing party, especially with these climatic times, so its going to be a continuous tug a war.

Because the branches of our government are separated now, our country is going to be in grid lock. What needs to get done, is our political parties need to work together. I don't know why they are always titled opposing political parties. They should be cooperating parties. The concept of the "Other Side," "Right and Left wing," is whats wrong with our country. We should be working together to have a more centered government.

Why are Republicans hopeful their party will gain Congressional seats during the
2010 midterm elections? What factors might disrupt these hopes for the Republicans?

Republicans are hopeful they will get their party to win Congressional seats during the 2010 midterm election because currently all the Branches are Democrat majority / Democrat owned. This means it is very easy for the Democrats to pass there legislator. The Republicans want to get a foot hold to slow down the Democrats progress / get there own say. They might not get there hopes because a lot of there candidates are crazy. If the Democrats who are running also win there the Republicans will have to wait for the presidential elections.

Explain the reasons the Tea Party formed and what message this sends to both
Republican and Democratic parties. What impact do you think the Tea Party will
have on the 2010 midterm elections?

The Tea Party feels Congress is not listing to the people. They want smaller governemnt and were created to change this. The Tea Party was created with Republican money so I feel its the Republicans trying to resell there package again because they cant under a Republican title because Bush ruined that. The impact is its taking votes away from the Democratic and Republican partys meaning they probably wont win much but there harming the other partys. This may be what the Republicans want.

Prop 19

Prop 19 is facing huge opposition. The campaign doesn't have enough money for proper advertisement so they are not getting enough votes. Before it was expected that the vote would pass but now that its geting closer to voting time things are not looking good for the bill. 51% to 35% of voters when polled said they would not vote for it.

I dont know what to think about Prop 19. How I feel is people are going to get weed one way or another so we may as well make it legal, safe, and efficant. We blow millions and millions of dollars on stoping it when we could control it and make money. I think if any thing should be illegal it would be alcohol. Alcohol is a far more addictive and destructive drug. The two substances in our country that kill the most are the two that are legal.

What I dont like

One thing that i really hate about how our government works is political parties. I dont like the concept of political parties. People have a few Republican values so they register as Republicans and take on all there values just because there Republican ideas. Same for Democrats. Why cant you support the War and want Health Care. There is no inbetween and I feel like people do certain things and believe certain things just because thats what there party thinks. If we got rid of parties every one could just belive in what they want to and not be swayed to certain sides. There is no functioning gray zone

Also because of political parties our country gets stuck on things. Its a constant tug o war and when ever we make progress the other party gets pissed and pulls us back. Our country is waaaay to large to be represented by just two parties. There needs to be more

Arnold Schwarzenegger

Last week Arnold Schwarzenegger let the oil companies have it. Remember he is our governor and Republican. He mainly focused on Valero, Tesoro, and Koch Industries claiming they were greedy and had there own agendas in California. He said the support prop 23 show by these companies is for there own good and not for the good of California or its people.

It was really cool to see because he is a Republican and Republicans usually don't attack the oil companies. This was one of the best speeches I have ever witnessed. It was strange to see because I didnt like Arnold before this but now I think he is amazing. He was not scared one bit and had "Balls ." (Sorry for that.) I look forward to more speeches like this one from him.

Summer

Summer is almost here! Im going to Europe with my father on the third day of Summer to work on his documentary. Its on the white buses that saved people in concentration camps during the holocaust. Its going to be an emotional but amazing experience.

Solar Flairs

Solar Flairs have been increasing recently. They don't know what is causing it. This is a little nerving because in the movie 2012 that is exactly how it happened. Forgeting Hollywood movie story lines, when looking at facts solar flairs can be devastating. They are high bursts of radiation.

BEACH HOUSE

In Paradise Cove Malibu my homie owens a beach house. its on a private beach and perfect for parties. Its nice to just lay there and look at the stars.

Sink Hole....

The Guatemalan government posted this picture Monday of a massive 200-foot-deep sinkhole in the capital of Guatemala City, which opened after a weekend of heavy rain from tropical storm Agatha.

A three-story building and at least one man were swallowed by its gaping maw, which officials estimate to be 100 feet in diameter.

About 146 people have died across Central America since Agatha’s landfall, with Guatemala reporting most of the casualties, according to the Daily Mail.

Mudslides are mostly to blame, and to make matters worse, officials are saying ash from the Pacaya volcano has blocked drains. Ash is also keeping Guatemala City’s airport closed, which could hamper international aid efforts.

Sinkholes are pretty common in Guatemala, Florida and other spots; just last month, a farmhouse with four people inside collapsed into a sinkhole in St. Jude, Quebec.

Sinkholes form in places where the underlying ground layer consists of limestone, salt beds or other soluble rock, which dissolves in water. Groundwater coursing beneath the surface eats away at the rock, slowly eroding and destabilizing it. Often, new underground caves are created, which then collapse in catastrophic scenes like this one.

Unfortunately, not much can be done to prevent the phenomenon -- other than hope you don't get swallowed.

White Buses

During the Holocaust the Swedish Red Cross entered Germany in White Buses and stole people in concitratin camps. They were able to do this with out being killed because of Hinrich Himlers misuse. He was able to talk him into this because he could cure Himlers Stomach Problems. Im doing a documentary on this in Europe this summer.

Zelda

The Legend of Zela: Orcorena of Time is by far the best game I have played in my entire life. It is a amazing game i played as a child on the N64. Any one who played this game as a kid knows what im talking about when I say these things. I recommend this game to any one.

Pivot

Pivot, the free stick figure animation program is only for PCs.... This is a horriable day. The program is really easy to use and make cool videos. You move characters within a frame around to make videos.

Maus I

Maus is a illistrated novel by Art Spiegelman thats very good. Its is a easy way to learn about the holocaust especially for young people or people who don't like reading. Its a easy read but delivers a huge message.

Korn

The band KoRn from Bakersfield is a style of its own. The bass player plays like non other. Its a sort of rhythmic drumming sound but on the bass. The vocals are a mix between yelling and singing and the guitar is extremely powerful. I love them.

Spliter Cell: Conviction

The new splinter cell game has changed the stealth video game genera drastically. Its no longer about hiding in the shadows and watching NPCs walking back and forth. Instead its about speed and tactics. It should be good.

Hurt Locker

The academy ward winning Hurt Locker, in my opinion sucked!!! The acting was of the wall true, bu the story was weird, there actions were outrages, and the situations were unrealistic. I don't think it was worthy for every thing it got.

Red Dead Redemption

Red Dead Redemption, the sequel to Red Dead Revolver is coming out next week. The game play looks ridicules. Set in the wild wild west its a free roam 3rd person shooter. I cant wait. The online gameplay looks really good to. You can travel around in a posse (group of friends.)

Iron Man 2

Iron Man Two looks tight. From what Ive heard its not only good but better then the first Iron Man. That's saying a lot because the first movie was really good. Any way I cant wait to see it in 3D.

Halo Reach

Halo Reach is the next installment of the Halo series. There adding a grip load of new content. You can choose between 4 classes of characters. Elites are slower and stronger while Spartans are faster and more limber. It looks pretty dam good.

iPhone Email

The new iPhone had an amazing new eMail system. It allows you to have multiple eMails signed up onto the same iPhone. This system is going to be extremely helpful for people who have more then one eMail which is almost every one.

Necro

Every one should check out Necro. He is heavy rap thats not for every one. Listen to the song, Who's your daddy. If you can handle that song you can handle any song. Its awesome.

2012

2012 is every day sounding more and more legitimate. At first I thought it was totally BS. I still do, but i have to say, when I hear about multiple volcano's forming around the world at the same time and economic crisis across the world, I begin to worry just a little bit. Ill see you all in hell.

TRON

Tron baby. The new Tron movie looks pretty amazing. The graphics are of the wall and the design is gorgeous. Its going to be in 3D which I cant wait for. They used old concepts from the old movie which i like. Ill see you in the theater later this year.

The Gates Corpuration

Bill Gates and his partners, besides being complete daemons with there computer empire, help the underprivileged. They donate millions of dollars to create vaccines for disesas like AIDS that ravage 3rd world countries. For this, I applaud them.

Sketch Up

Sketch Up, the free mac program is amazing. It is a program that allows you to make 3D models of what ever you wish. So far I have made a house and a castle. It is extremely easy to learn or pick up. If you have the program I highly recommend trying it out.

4.0 Apple iPhone

The new Apple iPhone has some amazing new features. The biggest is called Multitasking. What this new design does is allow people to use multiple apps at once. You can listen to Pandora while playing one of your games. Or if you get a phone call, you can stay on the phone while you browse your phone for the info you need.

Apple Apps

There are many Apple Apps for the iPhone, many of which are free. The Apps owners want to make some money so they are going to be putting interactive advertisements into the iPhone Apps. I'm upset about this but if guess the more money they are making the better Apps they will be creating.

KIN

The the new Microsoft KIN is a phone designed for people who enjoy Texting, checking Facebook, and Twiting. The phone takes HD photos and Movies which are easy to arrange online and on your phone. When ever you take a picture it goes to your computer also so you have a back up all the time.

3D TV

3D tv sounds pretty awesome. The professionals and public so far have all loved it. As of now there are only a few models owned by the company's making them but there all working. I'm looking forward to watching movies at home in 3D but mainly playing my games in 3D.

Clash of the Mofoing Titans Beoooach

Clash of the Titans looks soooo good let alone in 3D. I cant wait to see this movie despite what every one is saying about it. Crazy monsters, awesome battle scenes, and Liam Neeson hells yes.

Paint Ball Paradise

Paint Ball Paradise isss da bomb. it is free and quite possibly one of the best first person shooters ive played. It is a Widget that you can download and access when ever you wish. Playing with your friends is the best especially when there in the room with you. Any way get the game

4G

A variety of new phones are hitting the markets soon. It is expected that Sprint is going to release a new 4G phone. At the moment they are the only company with 4G. Unfortunately its just for lap tops though. With this 4G addition faster more productive phones are going to be available.

iPad Video Games

The iPad has games for it that are for no other systems. The Graphics look horrible and the games look very repetitive but fun. For example you can steer the cars by turning the iPad. Over all dont get the iPad for its video games.

Sony Move

Sony has the new Sony motion which is its version of the Wii but for the Ps3. Basically there's no reason any more to get a Wii anymore. Microsoft is coming out with project Natal which apparently the first steps to virtual reality.

300 quite possibly the best depiction of a historical battle in human history, had changed me life. the evil Persian Empire bent on conquest pain and destruction are met by a small handful of brave Spartan warriors and slay many. The Spartans are braver, stronger, and over all better people so they kill 1000 Persians each. Windows is coming out with a interesting new phone. It has the capabilities of writing new apps and making programs. This is preaty cool. I hope to see new user made games, apps, and programs for our hand held phones.

LSD

When troops in England were given LSD to see the effects on combat and group functionality the effects were apparent. The radio operators couldn't communicate, the men walked into enemy territory with out care, and men climbed trees to feed the birds. The general found him self laughing to much to give orders.

TiVo Premiere Seasion 4

The New TiVo DVR is revolutionary. Basically its the same TiVo DVR as all the ones we've seen, but with online / web capabilities. This means you go on YouTube or Hulu on your TV and watch videos like there being broadcasted.

iPad

More intimate then a laptop and more efficient then a iPhone. The new iPad by apple from what I have seen now is in my opinion a complete waist of time. The only thing it has going for it is its sleek looks. The games for it look horrible and besides that it has all the function you get in a cheaper computer. I think its a waist of money.

Canada Vs U.S.A.

Canada beat the US for gold in the Olympic hockey tournament. Canada was winning throughout the whole but within seconds of it ending we tied it and pushed it into overtime. While in overtime they took a easy shot on Millar the US golly and won. I was bumbed.

Powder to Power

The new Bloom power source is in my opinion the wave of the future. It is a small piece of paper made from sand that when put together in a small stack, maybe a foot by 6inchs, can power the average American house. It will make a power source in every house so we wont have to rely on the power grids that so very often fail.

Adobe Sercuirty

The Adobe security software programmers are working hard on there new projects. They are working on new features like automatic downloads and updates that go on behind the scenes and when the download is complete you are notified. This is a little sketchy to me. I like knowing whats being downloaded on my computer and having a say in it. I don't like this new idea of less work and less control.

Game Stop

All those old games siting in your closet are finally worth some thing. Game Stop bumped there used game buy price by 50%. This means those games you would normaly only get $15 for are now worth $22.5. get all the games you can get and sell them to get CODMW2

LG GT540

The new LG GT540 by android was just released at the mobile Ocongress 2010. The new phone is touch screen and looks pretty sleek. New functions included easier messaging service and a better camera. I'm not judging, but I would just wait for the new iPhone which is going to have some crazy functions like video chat.

Bar Robots

The BarBot 2010 competition happened recently. It was a collection of people from all over the world making robots the one might see at a cocktail party. Many Robots mixed and served there own drinks. This may be a more and more common thing, Robots serving us our food.

iPad . . . or iSuck?

There has been a lot of talk recently about apples new product the Apple iPad. But is it worth all the hype. Basically the iPad is a over sized / over priced iPhone. Its going to look nicer and maybe run a little faster but if you buy it your not going to get any thing new. I would save your money for what ever comes next.

Google Buzz

Google Buzz the new social networking system by google looks pretty cool. How it works is its based out of your Gmail and you can post status updates and all your friends will see. Its basically a twitter / Facebook update system. When you get updates you can ignore certain ones and a database stores this. Soon Google Buzz knows your intrists and sorts out the emails you wont like.

Even More Advertising 2

Now on MySpace music you have to listen to advertising before some songs. It only happens every couple of 100 songs but it seems every day they push the envelope more and more. Soon they will have advertising before every song like YouTube.

Kindle App

The kindle can now have apps. If you don't know what the kindle is, its the touch screen tablet that you can download books, newspapers, magazines, etc. from the internet strait to your kindle. There are some new Apps for this program but at the same time there are the old ones for the iPhone.

MovieTub

You can now rent / watch movies on YouTube. At the moment there are only a few movies for selection but the owners of Youtube feel that this will open up the minds of more rental agencies and there will be a bigger selection soon. I think this is kinda cool. The movies can be rented for one installment of $3.99.

Mystery

On January 27th Apple is scheduled to release a new mystery product. Its a invite only event and the mystery item is rumored to be the new Apple Tablet. Also there speculation new iPhone features will be announced.
