Activision the makers of Guitar Hero are being sued yet again. No Doubt and Courtney Love are suing them because they say they weren't told there characters would be used in other songs by other bands and vice versa... Although the contract states that. Any way this wouldn't be the first time Activision has dealt with a law suit and I'm sure they'll they will win this one.

There was recently a giant spiraling white light over Oslow Norway which many believed to be and U.F.O. It is now not a U.F.O. because the flying object was identified. It was a Russian missile fired form a Russian sub which failed and made weird spiraling motions in the sky. Why couldn't they just leave it be and let us all think Alians are coming.

Facebook Privacy

New Privacy settings on Face book were took affect today. You can select and option on Face book to set your pictures on friend view only but allow any one to see your profile. This means friends of your friends cant see pictures both you and your friends are tagged.

Virgin Galactic

Virgin air lines has a new branch called Virgin Galactic. For $300,000 dollars you can get two hours of air time. This is the first commercial trip to space and you don't go to far but its still amazing. Its the beginning of vacations to the moon...

La Auto Show

The LA Auto Show is coming to, surprise, la soon. This next convention will be focusing on more affordable cars and mini vans but there will also be the cars from the future we love. A ex employé of Sprint released in a open conference last weekend that the company had been monitoring there users in a some what of a "Patriot Act" style. He had records showing over 800,000,000 uses of this program. How it worked is they typed in your cell number and they got your GPS location. Scary...

Youtube

Yet another new function is available for youtube. Users can watch newly eared TV shows on youtube the day after it came out. It will be without commercials but a fee will be mandatory. Around two dollars is expected but i think if you really want to watch a show you missed this is the best way.

# 1 word

The # 1 word in the English dictionary of 2009 now is Twitter. Yes Twitter. Not unemployment, money, giraffe, vampire, but twitter. An algorithm that stores all words said on blogs and social networks pointed this out. Hopefully a word more meaningful will be the # 1 for 2010.

Twitter Faster!

A pop sensation, or new raper, or some deouchbag from disney was just arrested because he did NOT Twitt. He Twitted that he would be at a mall so hundreds of young girls gathered at that mall to see him but when he did not arrive they started to riot. The police instructed him to Twitt saying that he would not be there, but he didnt, and some girl got hurt or something... Meanwhile we are fighting a war in Iraq but there aren't to many riots about that... Those pour girls had a mild case of Claustrophobia.

Warner bros has announced a new service were you can send in your old DVD's and get them back in Blu ray. DVD2BLU.com is the web site you can do it at and if you send in your DVD you'll get back the Blu Ray within 4-5 weeks. Right now there is a staggering 50 titles you can exchange... More are expected soon.

Youtube

Youtube now has a new function were you can add subtitles to your videos. The hearing impared have lucked out and people of other languages. There are 51 languages available so people who cant understand what is being spoken can switch it to there own language. Im not sure how this is going to work for every video, its a good idea though.

The Beginning of the End

Scientists just made a computer that is as powerful as a cats brain. It is 58 times slower then what a cat can perceive but is as powerful. By 2018 they are predicting to make a computer that is as powerful as a human brain... O god, what the hell are they thinking. Haven't any of them seen terminator. Any way, the brain will be expected to learn from its environment and observe whats going on.

YouTube Direct

A new feature to YouTube, YouTube direct, is now available on there web site. It allows small time reporters to upload there videos and reports. I actually think this is an excellent idea. Now more real people will be reporting instead of these massive multimillion dollar reporting agencies who are hired by who knows who. I hope they keep this feature for people will be able to get there word out more.

2.6 million follow Obama on Twitter and yesterday he announced he has never used Twitter. The question was brought up when he was talking about China's restriction on social networking. In my opinion its a good thing he is protecting the free world instead of Tweeting every thing he does.

Curse you Russia!

Russia has banned Modern War Fare 2 and removed all games from the shelf's! The games story is America and Russia are locked in a apocalyptic war. One of the main reasons for the ban was the controversial level were the player guns down hundreds of innocents in a air port. Because of this America has declared war of Russia thus creating a real modern war. Jk, that would suck.

Assassins Creed is what I need

Some time last year i was playing Assassins Creed 1 and was extremely entertained, for about a week. That was the best short lived game i have ever played. I don't know how they did that, but it burned its self out very fast. I was extremely happy to hear that most people felt the same and the new Assassins creed would change all of that. They have added over 30 new weapons, swimming abilities, and flight. I cant wait to try the new game.

Project Natal

Project Natal is a new style of entertainment on its way to our markets. It is expect by early 2010 and is the new age of motion detection gaming. A cheap motion detector applied in front of your screen senses all of your body and you actions are mimicked in the game. So far i have seen shooting arrows at walking enemies and throwing a ball at targets. Im excited to start flailing in front of my TV screen every soon.

Facebook + Pancakes = Perfect Defense

Rodney Bradford was accused of robbery but a Facebook status update cleared his name. The message read "On the phone with this fat chick, were r my IHop?" haha amazing. This is one lucky guy, so if your going to commit a crime have one of your friends put up a Facebook states update on your account a few minuets before you do it. Its a perfect defense.

Call Of Duty 6 Modern WarFare 2

COD6M2 is here! COD6M2 was released last week and in one day it sold more copies then any other video game ever made! It made more money then any movie or video game ever. By the end of the year this game is expected to sell over 12,000,000 copies. Meaning next month.... Im pumped to play this game/add my 1 to that 12,000,000.

Call Of Duty is holding a competition for which small town pre orders the most amount of Call of Duty 6 Modern War Fare 2 games. The town who orders the most will receive a large donation to one of there local charities. So if your in a town of 5000 or less, go out there and buy your self a new COD6MW2

Call Of Duty Controversy

A video of Call of Duty 2 Modern Warfare was leaked on the internet this week. Instantly the web was buzzing but not for the reasons expect. The leaked video was from a level were you play as a terrorist who attacks innocent people in a air port killing them and shooting wounded civilians. It is extremely graphic and possibly a little to far but at least the graphics look good.

The Pixi smart phone with features such as 2.6 multi touch screen, key board, and web access will be exclusive for sprint owners. It is basically a scaled down version of Pre for $20 extra. Sprint said they weren't expecting this phone to bring in new users but wanted it to give there preexisting owners some thing to enjoy.

The Next Level

Here me gamers across the world! A 26 year old life less man who's name i cant pronounce just broke the previous US held record for longest video game session strait. He played GTA IV for 40 hours with out break... I'm not sure how he survived this but i do know he should not be proud of him self. I think at some point man kind will reach the max record or people will die trying, seriously, this is crazy.

Yahoo held a "Open Hack Day" in Tai Won and rewarded developers with lap dances. photos were released and the heat was brought down upon them. yahoo posted offical sorry on there blog, so every thing is OK. I think the only people who won in this situation were the developers.

Key Chest

This is pretty cool... Disney announced there new licensing system called Key Chest. Instead of buying movies separately for your ipod, dvd, and other handhelds, via Key Chest you can buy the rights to the movie its self. I don't mean you own the movie, but you get it once and then you can use it on all of your devices. This is going to make things a lot easier and is a product of living in our multimedia day of age.

Microsoft is on the move. The new version of Windows operating system, Windows 7 (Very creative guys) is now available. You can buy it on the newly vamped Microsoft web site. This is great and all, but I'm going to stick with mac, sorry windows, maybe next time you should name your operating system on a awesome animal. Like Leopard OX, I'm sorry, that's just tight!

Netflix War

I'm not a lawyer but i think Xbox just got jacked. You can now view nexflix, if you have an account with them, on your PS3 which was orgiganly a Xbox 360 exclusive... Unlike the 360 the PS3 needs a special blue ray disk to watch the massive selection of movies and shows which will be sent free of charge. I wonder if the Wii will do it next...

Paranormal Activty

Not much in this world can scare me. Ive seen almost every "scary movie" there is, but to me there just boring. This weekend i saw paranormal activity and for the first time in years, i had the you know what scared out of me! Go see this movie, it is amazing! Although the ending is extremely lame, the rest is a wild ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat and it is totally worth the ridiculous price of movie tickets today.

For the longest time i haven't had internet on my computer. At first it was annoying but soon i realized how important internet is to a computer... you can do almost nothing without internet in this day we live in... it is vital to what we use computers for, well thank god its back, i can now do what i want.

Humans have reached a new level of awesome. Saturday NASA scientists launched a nuke at the moon in hopes of finding ice in the dust cloud. It was not visible by the naked eye but it was from a 10inch telescope. You can also see it on NASA.com

Mountain Biking

Whats funner then going down a snowy hill on pieces of plastic at top speeds? Going down the same hill but faster and on two weals. Ski Resorts often on the off seasons when theres no snow stay open for down hill descent bike riders. I've been lucky to do this a few times and its amazing. It seems extremely dangerous, we got clocked at going 40 mph, but the sense of danger is out waited by pure ecstasy.

Sweden

There are many desirable places in this world, Tahiti, Cancun, Paris, Rome, etc, but Sweden inst usually at the top of peoples "To See List." Like most people, Sweden wasn't at the top of mine, but this summer I lived in Sweden for a month with my family and i was sadly mistaken. The country of Sweden is almost as beautiful as the people who live there, every one is nice and welcoming while the scenery is gorges and breath taking. I found my self board only a few times while there, but that was only due to AP History homework. I highly recommend, if you ever get a chance to visit Sweden, do it!

He got inspiration for his new name from a dwarf a Wookie (Star Wars), a Immortal, a problem solving crime fighter, and insanity. I actually didnt know this was legal to do, but if Julius Andreas Gimli Arn Macgyver Chewbacka Highlander Elessar Jankova could do it, so can we.

It is official. Kanya West as of last night, will be forever known as the douchbag he is. Live on the VMA awards Kanya jumped on stage, went up to Taylor Swift who had just won the award for Female video, complemented her and proceeded to say how Beyonce deserved the award more. He was then booed of the stage and I feel his carrier was booed of along with him. On YouTube viewers left comments like, "I will never buy another album" "He's lost what little respect I had for him." This is one mistake Kanya will never ever EVER forget.

The Daily Feed with Blair Herter 09.10.09

Family Guy is a show that is know for many things, but I'm not sure if record breaking is one of them. This March it broke records, but not in a good sense... 179,997 FCC complaints were received for the March 8th episode while all the shows combined last month only received 578. Viewers complained of "Bestiality, Gay Orgies, and babies eating sperm." Sounds like my kind of show. You can still watch the episode online to get your take on this matter or to just enjoy

Yesterday on The Daily Feed with Alisn Haislip Podcast it was released that "the face of women's MMA" Gina Carano will star in a upcoming movie, Knockout. All we know so far is the movie is about a women spy and judging by the name of the flic and her profession, she's probably going to kick some bad guy ass. Also in similar news former UFC champ Rampage Jackson will star in the new A-Team movie as BA Baracus. If a man named RAMPAGE Jackson cant successfully pull this roll of, I'm not sure who can. 3 major advancements in the tech world were announced on "The Daily Feed" Blog last week. One of the announcements was, there will now be Faction Switches in the MMO World Of Warcraft.
